MEET OUR FOUNDER
LARKIN JENKINS
Larkin is an Atlanta-based pediatric speech therapist dedicated to helping children unlock their full potential. She brings years of experience working with children with language delays (late talkers), language disorders, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, and social communication challenges. Her expertise also includes supporting children with developmental disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, and those who are Gestalt Language Processors or use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Larkin’s approach is rooted in collaboration with families, ensuring every care plan is tailored to meet the child's unique needs. Her favorite moments as a speech therapist include seeing children light up with confidence as they achieve new communication milestones—whether it’s signing “more” for a snack, saying “mama” for the first time, producing tricky sounds like “r,” answering WH questions, or mastering a high-tech AAC device.
Raised in St. Simons Island, Georgia, Larkin attended the University of Georgia, earning a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Samford University. Larkin now resides in Peachtree Hills with her husband, William, and their golden retriever, Magnolia. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys staying active with exercise and tennis, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Larkin is certified through the Georgia Board of Speech Therapy and is a proud member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
